National Youth Advocacy & Resilience Seminar Ft. WIATC

Early March, WIATC had the amazing opportunity to attend the National Youth Advocacy & Resilience Seminar. Built to address the well-being of the youth by emphasizing their mission L.E.A.D(Lead, Empower, Aspire, Develop).

Our teens participated in many breakout sessions. Alongside having the chance to listen to keynote speakers such as Reem Ameed and Dr. La Marr Sheilds.

Georgia Municipal Association Forum Ft. WIATC

Brought by the unifiers of Georgia teens and councils, the Georgia Municipal Association hosted a forum on March 20th through 22nd. including Walking in Authority, to connect, learn, and develop leadership skills.

Activities such as team building and interactive workshops were greatly particpated upon by our teens. In addition to the endeavor to connect and network with other youth, to brainstorm or share recent achievements.

Books were handed out to all in need or those who wish to expand their already owned book collection. In addition to a lesson regarding youth financial literacy. With the intention of building confidence with
